Of all the things I could have remembered, this isn't what I was expecting...

So we did serve in a military, after all... Though I can't remember for what.

Each division consists of roughly 200 shinigamis. Since Kuchiki-taichou is the captain of the 6th Division, then there would be at least six divisions. With 200 shinigamis per division, the numbers are easily at 1200... There are also officer seats for each company's best twenty. Lower seats are occasionally shared, but the higher ranks are mostly occupied by one person.

The divisions are lead by first seats, better known as captains. Leaders with unmatched skill and strength. The second seats are their adjutants, commonly referred to as lieutenants, vice captains, and assistant captains. I doubt even their powers would be of match for a captain.

The captains are prompted to wear a haori to signify which division they lead and who they are, while vice captains are given arm badges with their division's insignia.

According to Aizen-taichou and Kuchiki-taichou, I am a Vice Captain... I suppose I'll wait until the memory of my position returns to me. Otherwise, this doesn't seem to be a very significant memory.
